When Journey Meant More Than Destination

This post has been published by me as a part of the Blog-a-Ton 25; the Silver Edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. To be part of the next edition, visit and start following Blog-a-Ton. The topic for this month is 'When Journey Meant More Than Destination'.

PS : After a loooong time I have posted on my blog. I was into this so-called writer’s block. But it was a coincidence that I looked at my reader and saw blog-a-ton’s new post. And after a long block suddenly this poem flashed in my mind, but in Marathi. I wish I could write it in English. But translation would kill the original. So I kept it just the same with a hope that readers would understand Marathi since it is Devanagri script, just as Hindi. Hope you enjoy it!

  3. Please do post a translation, even if it is in Hindi. Not everyone reads Marathi. I would surely like to read the poem then.
    All the best for BAT.

  5. A good read. You will have to make few corrections though - e.g. kuthetaree / kuTHetaree; basure / baansuree etc.

And of course at a brief summary of the poem in English would be helpful to non-Marathi readers. Hindi readers won't understand it as many words are not used in Hindi.
